Past Events.

This is just past events.

On Sunday, July 6th, we went to a daughter of a lady from my dad's work's wedding reception.

On Tuesday, July 8th,I had Art Class. It was the hardest class. I had to draw a picture of me holding a bottle opener thing.

On Saturday, July 12th, I had a Birthday party for one of my friends from church. That was a lot of fun! Then, we all sent to the Youth Group Meeting. We played capture the flag outside. It was sort of hard because it was a little dark. One of my friends was going for our flag and I was guarding it. She dived in to get the flag but I was in the way so we bopped knee to knee. So, I could not swim breaststroke or butterfly for the few days after that.

On Wednesday, July 16th, Chris and I went to the dentist early in the morning to have our teeth cleaned. Then, later on in the day, we took Taylor and dropped Melina off at her dental appointment (different place). While we were waiting for her to be done, Maider, Mom, Taylor and I went to the Mannassas Mall.I bought a couple of things and then we picked up Melina. Later on in the day, I went to Megan and Sarah's birthday party and played a lot of games. It was a lot of fun!

On Tuesday, July 22nd, I went to Art class at 7:oo pm. We had to draw a very pretty flower. It was a lot of fun. We stayed up late to pack for our big trip to California.

Fourth of July.
Sorry it is sooooo late!
1st, we went to the parade in D.C.
Then, we went to see the Washington Monument. Well, we just went close to it and did not go in, but hope to go in while our exchange students are here. Then, we watched a little more of the parade. There were some really cool things there.
This is the Fourth of July Parade.
It is a man driving a unicycle and doing a whole bunch of cool tricks.

Then, after watching all those cool things in the parade go by...
We decided to go to the White House and visit the President.
...And here we are!

Then, we went to the Lincoln Memorial. Maider really wanted to go there.

Then, from there, we walked to the Arlington Cemetery.

If you look closely, you will see a robin on a gravestone. While we were there, we visited...

Then, we went to The Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers where we learned that there is always a guard walking back and forth even when it is closed (yes, i mean 24/7).

This is when we were at the Iwo Gema (I think that is how you spell it.), looking at the nice fireworks.

Chris and Simon played soccer for a little bit.

Sorry, it is sort of blurry, but it's hard to get a picture of these fireworks.

Then, we slept.
